We have taken great care in order to secure the best deals with networks worldwide which means you will benefit from being able to use this SIM in many ports without having to use a new SIM in each country you visit.
Please visit the Apple App Store of the Google Play Store and search for ‘Megga SIM App’. Select download and once downloaded please follow the on screen instructions to set up your account. It is important to have the Megga SIM App on your phone as this will allow you to buy new bundles, buy a SIM and check your balance.
Your SIM can be bought from many agents in many ports worldwide. Please contact us to find out where your nearest port is or visit www.meggasim.com for more information Alternatively you can purchase a SIM via our website www.meggasim.com – we ship to any address worldwide.If ordering online we ask you to allow approx. 10 days for your SIM to arrive.Please contact us when this arrives so we can activate it for you and load you with 2GB Data.

Your SIM is pre-loaded with a 2GB World Bundle so you can use the SIM immediately upon installing it. It is important that you download the Megga SIM App via Google Play Store or Apple App Store so that you can purchase more data bundles as well as set up your account and also follow any promos etc we will have running.
If you have bought your SIM via an agent, it will already be activated and ready to use with the 2GB World Bundle loaded onto your account so please just download the Megga SIM App.
If you have bought your Megga SIM via the website then when you receive it please contact us at email@example.com with your SIM number/ICCID (this can be found on the SIM and start 8945880….) so we can activate and load the 2GB World Bundle on here for you.
Please do register your SIM on the app as this will make it must easier to manage.
Firstly, please download the Megga SIM App on either Google Play or the Apple App Store.
Then go to the footer menu and click on:
- ‘Megga SIM’, then
- ‘Login/Sign up’ page. Once logged in please go to
- ‘Manage’ and press
- From here please enter the ICCID number. You are now registered!
One promotion that we will always run is that for every 10 data bundles bought, you will receive a free 11th data bundle which will be a 2GB World bundle. Once you have bought 10 data bundles (you can see this from the ‘History’ section of your Megga SIM app), please get in touch and we will load your free 11th data bundle for you.

Is Data Roaming switched ON?
To ensure you are connected to the Internet you must switch your Data Roaming to ‘ON’ when travelling. You can find the Data Roaming button in your phone’s Settings.
For certain smartphones you might need to check your APN settings.
Do You Have Coverage?
If you find yourself in an area with limited mobile coverage, or no coverage at all, you will find it difficult to access the internet. Try switching locations and make sure you have enough signal bars to connect to 3G or 4G/LTE or 5G.
If you are in good coverage and tried everything else, you can always try a full power-down restart and see if that helps.
Have you selected the right network?
For best results, please allow your device to choose the network automatically as it will connect to the strongest one. If this isn’t strong enough you can then try to select a different network manually.

Please do so from the Megga SIM App which should be downloaded onto your phone. From here you can choose a new data bundle and buy it using a valid credit/debit card.
Go to ‘Megga SIM’ on the footer menu, then ‘Manage’, then choose which Data Bundle you wish to purchase from the list. Once chosen, you will be asked to enter your credit card details to purchase it.
If you buy data bundles via the app please note that these will automatically be loaded onto your account so if you buy more than one these will form a queue and the next one will be loaded when your current bundle finishes.
You can also buy a single or multiple vouchers (to sell to crew members, for example, or you are an agent looking to buy multiple vouchers) from www.meggasim.com Go to the ‘Buy’ page. From here you can buy as many data bundles in as many GBs as you require. The purchased data bundle PINS will be sent to your email address and you can load these whenever you like.
To load a Data Bundle PIN via the Megga SIM app, you will firstly need to register your SIM on the Megga SIM app. You will not need to do this every time. Once registered, go to ‘Megga SIM’ on the footer menu, then ‘Manage’ then ‘Add Data Bundle PIN’, then simply enter the PIN.
The answer is yes ! You can use any communication app that uses the internet so Whatsapp, Snapchat, Twitter, Facebook Messenger, Instagram, Skype etc.
This is a data only SIM and does not allow for calls or SMS.
You can however use VOIP applications such as WhatsApp or Skype, which use your data plan.

You can queue bundles, for example if you have 2 World Bundles (the same or different GB values) these will be queued until the current bundles runs out or expires. You can also have a ‘World’ and a ‘World Plus’ bundle at the same time so that whichever country you go to (from either country list) you will be able to use your Megga SIM. The SIM will recognise which country you are in and use the appropriate Data Bundle.
